Keeping the Edges Hot

No previous experience of men’s groups is necessary – it’s just a blokes-only weekend away at Slayley in Northumberland.

Bring your sleeping-bag, a piece of favourite music to introduce yourself, cash for a pub-meal. Bring a friend, if you’d like,(though they need to be male and have to be booked in with us, too, in advance), pack some boots or scruffy shoes and waterproofs, maybe a pillow, and earplugs ( just in case you snore!) – and drums if you have them – or can borrow a drum from a friend. Sleeping-mats, or inflatable mattresses are allowed, if that's your preference and you've room to bring them. There are some gymn mats at this particular hall already.

Dozens of men have been on similar weekends, and loved it. We drum, we talk, we drink, we walk, we eat – and breathe a little.

Open to men of all ages and backgrounds.    Accommodation is basic.  

This weekend encourages you to be real as a man ( because too often we can be like over-grown boys trapped in a man’s body!)
