Men Behaving Vulnerability
Join us on October 25th for Men Behaving Vulnerably - a live immersive show for men by men. This free monthly Zoom Gathering offers performances from several artists as well as contributions from men from a number of different groups and networks. All are welcome. You will witness stories, reflections, song and poetry exploring masculinity and vulnerability as well as chance to break into smaller discussion groups to share experiences of life in the time of Corona. Our diverse range of speakers and performers, who have all themselves journeyed with men's work, weave together an exploration of the male psyche. Expect laughter, tears and an encounter with your own shadow.Confirmed artists include:
Tony Vino (Comedian) http://www.tonyvino.co.uk/
Matt Hill (singer-song-writer) https://matthillsongwriter.com/
In addition, Matt Hill, https://matthillsongwriter.com/home
is offering a Song-Writing Workshop (5.30 – 6.15pm) before the main October event. Places will be limited for this workshop. Contact Martin asap to register your interest.
Through our Men Behaving Vulnerably events we have raised over a thousand pounds so far for local projects including food banks, homeless projects, and mental health initiatives. We have also forged a link with We Shall Overcome, https://www.facebook.com/groups/weshallweekend/
a network of artists and musicians who raise money to help people at the sharp end of austerity. Although our events are free, those who wish to do so can make a contribution directly to a local project.
