Men Behaving Vulnerability
MBV event: “Fantastic stuff. Came here with apprehension. Leaving with high spirits” - so commented one of the men at the end of our April gathering which went really well, with great feedback from those who came along, including several men who had never been to a men’s event or group before.
Some of the poetry and other contributions from MBV is being generously shared. Several recordings, together with lyrics to some of the poetry, are available here:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1kDOHpGghgWlKIa__fECnLxvYdMzgty85?usp=sharing
You can also access some material via the websites of some of our contributors:

Supporting local projects - Whilst there is no charge for our MBV events, we do want to provide the option, for those who wish, to make a donation to support local community projects that support those who have been hardest hit by austerity over recent years, now compounded by the Covid-19 crisis. Each month its a different project and imformation about that will be available to all who attend
Registering for future MBV events: It looks like will be holding these gatherings on the last Sunday of the month for a little while longer - certainly during this time of social distancing. So, to make life simpler, rather than register for each event in turn, you can now simply register your interest generally and you will be sent joining instructions / zoom link each month, until you decide otherwise. You should receive these a few days before each event. To register, contact Martin Higgins This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Our June gathering will be on 28th June (7-8.30pm).
Contributions welcome - If you wish to offer a poem, story or music at one of the forthcoming events please contact Martin.
Workshops Offer - We are also looking at the option of offering some on-line workshops, (e.g. writing poetry facilitated by Adrian Scott). Let us know if this is something you would value.
Visit our Facebook Event pages - Use our Facebook Event to keep track of developments and invite others to these events: https://www.facebook.com/events/538996353445870/
