Our monthly men's meetings start with a meditation followed by sharing from our heart. We also share some feedback of chapters of a book by inspiring authors (e.g. work by Henry Nouwen, Richard Rohr, Adrian Smith) that we agree to read. We use a tree metaphor to explain to a newcomer how from meditation and silence we awaken to our spiritual reality and become compassionate towards ourselves and others.
In this way we are equipped to welcome, value, affirm, listen to and care for other brothers, in a space which is sacred because is safe, inclusive, without judgement and desire to provide answers, where everyone doesn't need to perform to be accepted.

Man have been sitting in ‘circle’ for hundred, if not thousands, of years.
Our meetings will centred around circle time. It will including drumming, meditation and sharing. This is the heartbeat of the circle. It's not exclusive, you don't need to be a particular 'type' - just a bloke.
We will openly discusses problems and solutions to specific men’s dilemmas. Meetings will be held monthly and it is intended to give men the opportunity to get back to their spiritual roots and begin a new life with support and tribal connection.
We will create a safe environment to share honestly and vulnerably with one another and we encourage each other to explore and discover the true purpose of our lives.
Many men in today's society struggle to find meaning and purpose in their lives. As a protected gathering that gives each man the opportunity to be heard, it finds the true nature of men’s needs and desires and recognises their place in the world and their purpose in life. It offers a space away from the busyness of life.

What to expect:

Our meetings will begin with drumming followed by silence for 15 minutes or so, then we share where we are on our journey through life. A talking stick or stone is used which adds space and therefore a different quality of deep listening to each other compared to the normal conversations out in the world. It comes from the "Way of Council"
We share on whatever comes up in terms of our feelings and emotions, in a safe place, while being authentic and real and not trying to fix each other.... There is no hidden agenda other than helping each other, by our presence and listening, to become fully who we are meant to be.

As a group of men we will be dedicated to the promotion of a strong and healthy male spirituality. All men are invited to join us on this great and mysterious journey towards a mature masculine spirituality.
The group is open to all men, regardless of age, race, creed or sexuality or previous experience of men's work.
We will meet at the Sacred Healing Centre, the Humbers in Telford and will be held once a month
