Manchester

Our Manchester group which now calls itself The Manchester Circle has been going since 2013. It is quite a large network of men with 7-8 regularly at out meets. The general pattern of our gatherings is that we meet on the third Sunday of each month from 4:00pm - 6:00pm in Dukinfield (Tameside) in Martin's garden or in Oldham at the allotment Chris has made available for us. Our meetings are centred around circle time including drums, fire, speaking stick & tea. This is the heartbeat of the circle but in addition there are some midweek meets for other activity around the edge like socials, watching films and trying new things. All are welcome.

Contact: For more information please contact Martin Higgins or Anthony Trivino using the form below.

Where and when we meet: Every 3rd Sunday of the month 4pm to 6pm in Dukinfield (Tameside) or Oldham.

The Yang Gang is a man’s group event that openly discusses problems and solutions to specific men’s dilemmas. Held monthly it is intended to give men the opportunity to get back to their spiritual roots and begin a new life with support and tribal connection.

As a protected gathering that gives each man the opportunity to be heard, it finds the true nature of men’s needs and desires and recognises their place in the world and their purpose in life.

Giving fathers and sons the chance to bond through simple language and recognising the work of other men’s groups and rituals, it brings together elements of nature, rhythm and basic instincts to produce a powerful collective energy.

This event is run on a donation basis with the proceeds being directed to other men’s work.

Contact: For more information please contact Lionel Cox using the form below.

Where and when we meet: Every 2rd Sunday of the month from 2pm to 6pm. We meet at Blissland, Heather Bank Farm, Congleton Edge, Congleton, Cheshire CW12 3NA. This is not the easiest of places to find so we have specific directions available on request to any attendees. We already run many events here at Blissland and it seems appropriate to balance the female Yin Crowd with the Yang Gang.

London

The group is open to all men, regardless of age, race, creed or sexuality or previous experience of men's work. We use fire, silence, meditation, myth, and a talking stick to offer a space away from life's busyness. We create a safe environment to share honestly and vulnerably with one another and we encourage each other to explore and discover the true purpose of our lives.

The London group meets on the first Thursday of every month in Euston, and is open to all whether you have experience of men’s groups or not.
